Karen White - Brighton Region: London/S.East

I teach qi gong and tai chi classes at Hanover Community Centre Brighton BN2 9UD on Wednesday evenings 7.15-8.15 pm
I teach qi gong on Thursdays evenings at Brighton Natural Health Centre Brighton BN1 1UL
I also teach 1:1 and small groups
I have practised Tai Chi and Qi Gong since 1989. I started with Yang Style Tai Chi and was later introduced to the Wu Style Short Form through my teacher in Brighton - Brian Cooper. I am a qualified instructor in the Dragon and Tiger Level 1 and Opening the Energy Gate of the Body Level 1 Qi Gong sets and Short Form Wu style Tai Chi Level 2 in the Energy Arts system.
Through teaching Qi Gong and Tai Chi my aim is to get people connected to their bodies and drop their energy from their heads and enable them to relax and develop better energy flows. This is done in a relaxed and gentle way - the movements are aimed to build strength, endurance and co-ordination. Practices that through relaxed movement create more stamina, reducing tension which eats stamina. My classes are suitable for all people with different levels of physical ability, above the age of 16 years.
