Sad news: remembering Aileen Mandic

We are deeply saddened to report that our long-standing treasurer and membership secretary, Aileen Mandic, passed away suddenly in hospital last week due to complications after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Over the years she was known to hundreds of our members and we will remember her for kindness, humour and hard work.

Our thoughts are with her family and everyone who knew and worked with her over the years, she will be very much missed.

Aileen's funeral will take place at 2pm on Friday 17 October at The Hurlet Crematorium, Glasgow Road, G53 7TH.

Please feel free to wear a splash of blue, big or small as it was Aileen’s favourite colour. In lieu of flowers the family have asked for donations on behalf of Aileen towards the Anthony Nolan Trust via the following link.
