Everyone initially joins the Union as an Ordinary Member. Instructor membership is for those who have been practicing for at least 5 consecutive years and wish to have the credibility of being one of our registered instructors.
All applicants are assessed by our Technical Panel who between them have over 200 years of experience and are expert across many different Tai Chi Internal Arts of which the four main ones are Tai Chi Chuan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan and Qigong.
Assessments focus on common principles and NOT the specifics of any particular style.

Second and subsequent years: UK, Channel Islands & Isle of Man, £45 per year; Overseas, £55 per year
