Everyone initially joins the Union as an Ordinary Member.
Instructor membership is for those who have been practicing for at least 5 consecutive years and wish to have the credibility of being one of our registered instructors.
All Instructor Member applicants are assessed by our Technical Panel who between them have over 200 years of experience and are expert across many different Tai Chi Internal Arts of which the four main ones are Tai Chi Chuan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan and Qigong. This means our assessments can focus on common principles and NOT the specifics of any particular style.

Cost of assessment: £35 (non refundable) plus the usual Ordinary Membership fee. Instructor membership cost £45 per year.
