This 11-session online course explores Section 3 of the First Road of Chen-Style Taijiquan Gongfujia, taught by Nabil Ranné in the tradition of Chen Fake, Chen Zhaokui and Chen Yu.
Working through one movement in each session, participants receive detailed instruction on posture, structural requirements and the connections within each movement. The teaching also introduces important aspects of body method (*shenfa*) and explosive power (*fali*).
The section progresses from “Cover the Body and Strike (Back Folds and Strikes)” to “Mounted Scout.” Each class combines a short warm-up, detailed study of a new form movement, individual coaching, corrections and time for questions.
This course is designed for practitioners continuing their study of the First Road and wishing to develop greater precision, coordination and understanding of traditional Chen-Style Taijiquan.
