We are sorry to announce that after 4 ½ years, Tina Faulkner Elders has stepped down from the Board. Tina helped steady the Union through some very difficult times and led the work developing the new identity and trading name which will be so important to the Union in the future. We are all extremely grateful for her help, resilience and especially her good humour which will be missed. We are delighted that Tina will remain on the Technical Panel and continue to be an advocate for the Union. As the marketing and PR function she headed up develops, we will be looking to make use of her skills and knowledge so we are sure you will see and hear of her again!
On a happier note, we are pleased to announce that Paul Roberts, a Union instructor, has joined the Support Team as Communications Manager. Paul brings many years of experience in promotion and marketing. He will be working closely with all the Board with the support of director Roy Williams (Operations) and Ken Symons (Magazine Editor).
Our aim is to promote the Union and its expanding benefits, to members and the public. We have spent the last couple of years setting the foundations to allow sustainable growth and development of the Union and we believe we are now in a good position to start the next stage to make the Union and our members the go to place for reliable information and instruction in the Tai Chi Internal Arts.
Our members are our future so we want to support them and develop their skills, we are currently pursing a number of projects but if there is anything in particular you would like the Union to provide please let us know through our usual email address enquiries@taichiunion.com.
